This is the life blood of any bike engine- maybe that's why it's deep red colour?..anyhow ..can't praise this oil highly enough...engine runs very smoothly ...does exactly what it's supposed too and more.....bike is now approaching 60k miles ..and have used this engine oil since bikes first service after running ithe engine in

Great value API SG, SH & SJ

Not only is this an excellent oil that meets the correct API SG, SH & SJ spec for our top sports bikes, Sportsbikeshop offer it mail order at a great price. To many people just pick the right viscosity, without considering the API rating as specified in the handbook. Post-change, the gear change is already slicker. Mail dealer servicing who had been looking after my bike before I bought it had been using lower grade stuff.....
Plus, being read, it's really easy to see in the sight-glass , making it easy to avoid overfilling.

Top oil from silkolene, some people don't like fully synthetic or 'posh oil' but I'm in the camp of you should always get the best oil you can afford. Always silkolene and it's done plenty of commuting miles and a good handful of trackdays. Nearly 40k on the clock and still runs spot on with no smoke or loss of power, I put it down to oil and frequent changes.

This is the first time I have used this product in my 12 month old Triumph Street Twin since changing too Silkolene Pro 4 10W-40 the gear changes are a lot smoother and the general sound of the engine seems quieter I will definitely use this oil again and would highly recommend it
