LS2 Drifter - Devor Matt Black / Hi Viz Yellow

I have been looking for a trial style helmet for green laning and was having trouble finding a comfortable fit. Thankfully, with the incredible service SBS offer returning items is very straight forward _ i don't know how they can manage to do it.
I wear Shoei on my road bikes and so have that long oval shaped head which did not suit either of my initial choices. On my third attempt I went for this helmet and almost had it right but actually needed a size up from my Shoei size. There was a totally fuss free change and now I'm sorted!
As to the helmet itself I really like it, it appears to be good quality and is comfortable although I've not actually used it yet. I like the drop down visor and the spare tinted one included, I can't comment on how effective this is yet as I've not been out on the bike yet (a previous make only served to direct more wind into my eyes but this may not be the case with this helmet)
Any criticisms? Yes, the strap could do with being a tad longer in my opinion and the chin piece makes putting the helmet on a very tricky/uncomfortable experience with it in place due to the close facial fit. This isn't a problem for me as I don't intend to use it anyway but should be checked if it matters to you.
I'm happy with its comfort, looks and nice secure fit and the service from SBS, as we all know, is nothing short of legendary.

I have had this helmet for a few weeks now and I find it to be very comfortable. I'm on a low cc bike at the minute, but when going around 45mph there is some wind noise, so best to wear ear plugs. with the muzzle attached there is limited vision around the clocks, but the visor does clear of any mist very quickly once moving, with or without the muzzle. This helmet does look very cool, and I have gotten countless compliments from people, mainly saying it looks like a fighter pilot. The visor also flips up to be unoticeable which I really like. Size is true, so stick to what you are. If you are looking for a budget open face with a muzzle, this is a really good fit.

Wanted an open face for the very cold days. Didn't want to spend a lot of money on a flip helmet for the amount of time I'd use full face. Its removable front is perfect as a wind deflector on really cold days.
Good comfortable fit and, for the price, worth a punt.
