The helmet has a really good price point for a carbon fibre helmet, but that's it. Buy cheap, pay twice. The carbon fibre isn't good quality, the interior wears quickly, the front visor is stiff to open/close and comes off by accident way too easily. The Pinlock inside the visor dropped out and couldn't be reinserted. I had to send it back under warranty for a refund, but instead it was returned with a new visor and Pinlock, so not happy. I never used the cheek pads inflation device as it wasn't necessary (if Arai/Shoei don't need it, why does Scorpion?) , so wish Scorpion had spent the money developing this gimmick on making the helmet better quality. I bet it costs $10 to manufacture. Going off Sportsbikeshop, employees are defensive too. I've ridden over 1 million miles in 35 years and put motorcycle kit to the test everyday, I'm not an armchair biker and have supplied the British Motorcycle Press with journalism, so I'm not speaking out of turn.

Not a very comfortable helmet,
It appears that there is some padding missing in the crown, or the top of the helmet. There is more than enough in the sides, and it is a nice-looking helmet, and very quiet, but spoilt by the missing padding in the top which makes your head very sore from the polystyrene ribs digging in to your scalp.

Quality on the helmet seems great for the money. This is my 2nd helmet and I can say it feels a little more snug that my Simpson Venom in the same size, but feels comfortable etc.

Needed a replacement for my aging Shoei and stumbled across this helmet which was on offer at SBS. Did my research on many forums and YouTube video reviews and the scorpion helmet seemed to be punching much higher than its purchase price would suggest. Especially as this includes a tinted visor and pin lock insert at no extra cost. Delivered in super quick time (as always from these guys) and it fits beautifully. For reference, to date only AGV and Shoei have fitted my head shape. I've only ridden for a few miles to try it out, but early indications are that this helmet is every bit as good as the reviews I watched suggested. Very happy with my purchase.

This helmet is a massive upgrade from my previous. It feels like a suction cup on the top of my head which means there is no movement, combine that with how light it is and it is much more comfortable.

The quality is really good, nice and light, fits really well. The air pump for inflating the air cheeks is a great idea. The helmet fits so snug it also gives you a sense of security.

Bought two lids when buying this and the other one was a Shoei. This is as good and better safety standard. My second scorpion exo1400 and once again great fit with air fit built in sun visor and unlock. They have made a couple of improvements like sun visor is lower and springs in visor mechanism are covered. My last lid after a few years they had rusted. Looking forward to many miles with

Well let's start by saying that I bought this helmet last year and spent the entire month of September touring Spain and Portugal. The main problem on this tour was the awful blue drop down sun visor which actually didn't drop down very far.
Fast forward to 2024 and the metal locking mechanism on the pinlock visor disintegrated, which apparently is a problem with some of the Scorpion helmets and HJC helmets mainly affected. It is a rare occurrence but it does happen nonetheless.
So I contacted Sportsbikeshop with regard to getting a replacement visor because they do cost £43 for a replacement. I was told to pack the helmet up and send it all off (even the helmet) which meant stripping my Sena out of it.
Eventually I received my helmet back with a new visor fitted. It surely would have been easier for me to send them the visor with all the bits and just send me a new pinlock visor. Now I have to find some sticky mounts etc to refit my Sena, which personally I think could have been avoided.

This is my first helmet, I'm a new rider and I love it. It is a full carbon fibre and comes with a bag, spare visor and antifog protection. Gives you what you need. Very good fit and it looks insane. Super quiet and gives you an advantage because of incorporated sun glasses.
