Quad Lock Waterproof 12V to USB Smart Adaptor

When I ride on my motorcycle, I have been using my phone for satnav but the battery was depleted after a few hours so I purchased a Quad Lock Wireless charger and the smart adapter. The quality is great and the option to either switch to auto, off or permanently on is useful. I leave it on auto. I would have given this product excellent but for the fact that on the positive connector, there is a piece of plastic right next to it, which prevents the battery terminal boot to drop down properly. It isn't a huge issue but a little frustrating. I emailed Quad Lock to advise this and suggested they produce this cable with a slight gap between the metal connector and plastic piece which will allow the boot to fit in between. Who knows, they might actually do this and if this happens, you will know it was due to me. Ride safe!

A neat solution to the need to having a "switched" power supply to the handlebars of my bike without needing to splice into anything. However, I have found that it sometimes doesn't appear to turn off when expected in Auto mode - there is no pattern to this.

Well made and very easy to fit. Placed control box under the seat and in auto mode. Sparks in to life when engine is started and then powers my sat nav. Shuts off when engine turned off. Plenty of cable to route where needed. SBS were the cheapest source I could find.
