Mammoth Security Maxi Disc Lock

A nice heavy yet compact lock, easily stored under the seat due to its flat shape. Also makes an excellent padlock for a shed etc.

I have had a lock like this from Abus on my Vmax for 23years. This seems identical, very strong, easy to fit and carry under the seat. It comes with four keys so unlikely you'll could loose all those. The bright colour makes it hard to miss, so in all this time I've not tried to set off with the lock on, even with no reminder cord on the bars.

This fits through the sprocket easily with just enough space to bolt up over the chain/sprocket combo.

Not overly weighty so it wont be painful carrying in a backpack or topbox.. too big for a pocket though (weight wise).

Good strong lock. Portable and easily clips under my seat. However, the key can get stuck occasionally and require a fair bit of fiddling to get it to unlock.

Bought for a Harley Tourer as a visual deterrent to back up the factory alarm system.
Large shackle makes it easy to manoeuvre the lock into position.
Supplied with four keys.
Good, solid lock with smooth locking mechanism,at a competitive price.
You can pay a hell of a lot more for a disc lock that won't do much more than this.

Bought this as a gift for my son but was disappointed that the lock was faulty and would not open at all. Returned and replaced immediately by shop but replacement just as bad. Must be a faulty batch as see other reviews are good. Am returning for a refund. Service from shop absolutely faultless though. Would give them 5 stars without doubt.

This is decent value. It seems strong and sturdy. I chose this as it is one of the few disc locks that will fit my older Ducatis. I don't know how it will stand up to a sledgehammer, hopefully I'll never find out! It's a good visual deterrent though. As usual service from Sportsbikeshop was superb. Delivered in 48hrs. Cracking price.

Not the heaviest disc lock of this type that I've come across. This one looks more substantial than it probably is, making it a great visual deterrent and meaning there's no excuse not to carry it and use it. However, it's very cheap compared to alternatives which makes it a great value supplement to other security devices I use.

Brilliant bit of kit, has the bright yellow to say 'oi thieves better back off m8' and looks and feels like the bike is secure!

As much as I love this brands security I wished they changed the colour of the keys. I have one of their lock and chain and it's the same colour so it's always the luck of the draw when choosing which key would fit.

Could be too big to fit within the rim of some wheels. Good aspect of this lock is that it can be also be used as a padlock with a chain.

Bought this disk lock for my Honda CB500X (2016).

It seems very sturdy and I like the color. It only fits the front disk. Would be great if I could put it on the back wheel as well.
