Added to my vario panniers to allow extra bags to be tied on top. Used Self tapping screws rather than the bolts provided.

Simple but effective

Don't look or feel very substantial, though seem to do the job well enough. Just about work on a curved surface, although they don't look quite right.
Feel that they're quite expensive for what they are, just a couple of bits of moulded plastic. But they work so can't complain.

Not sure these are up to regular long term use, we'll see. These are very light weight, literally and it appears some parts are plastic although these might be very light aluminium, difficult to work out. This might not be a problem and time will tell, I'm just fixing them on now. The bolts and nuts I replaced with my own stainless steel items. The standard nuts with it are not self-locking nylocks and may vibrate lose, hence replaced. So all looks OK for now, but long term use suitability unclear.

They come with black bolts, not as pictured with the silver, this makes for a tidy installation. Only rated 4 stars as yet to do a trip but so far with testing they are well up to the task.

The hooks are exactly as described, all a strong plastic which won't rust.
The supplied fixings I suspect will rust but changed then for longer ones for fixing to my panniers.
They fold away neatly which is good and have ample space for receiving bungee hooks.
The next version might work better with Rick straps or similar ?
Good product, does exactly what it says for a quarter the price of alloy ones.

Useful little hooks, but bolts rust

Hooks were added to hard panniers to allow sleeping bags to be bungied on top.

The hooks themselves work fine for this, fold down flat when not in use and no problems during 1300 mile trip.

The bolts, however, aren't silver/stainless as shown in pic, but black painted and have already rusted, so I'll need to replace them with something suitable for outdoor use.
