Fantastic value great product

A well made chain and lock, it's quite heavy so not likely to carry it on the bike. I like the cover so you won't scratch the paint. Yet to put it to the ultimate test,

It's not getting 5 stars for 3 reasons.

1 - No one has attempted to steal my bike as yet as I went don't know how it'll hold up.

B - The pin is/shackle/saddle is fiddly! Easy on a table but not so easy when locking to the bike. It is quite thin compared to the chain and lock body and would be the target of any attack I reckon.

3 - There isn't much worthy in this day and age of 5 stars. People just get carried away.

If it was on sale elsewhere I wouldn't have purchased it. It is definitely worth the sale price but not sure I'd pay full retail. "you never go full retail"

Good chain & does exactly what it says-very happy

The product is strong, long and heavy. Hopefully it will deter any thief. Bright green colour is useful as you can't miss it and it reduces the chance of trying to ride off without removing. Only down side is it is supplied with just 2 keys, but you could get others cut. The service and delivery from Sportsbikeshop was perfect delivered on time and free delivery.

Good value, The chain is heavy and solid which is exactly what I was looking for. The bright green protective sleeve is thick enough the protect the paint and bright enough to be seen. Ideal.

Great quality, and easy to handle, not too heavy so easy to take with you if needed, excellent quality, and excellent service from the guys, have spent thousands over last 6 years, never an issue.

Solid 1.8m chain and lock. Sold Secure Gold approved. Much cheaper to buy than some of the other chains and locks that cost £100 upwards.

This is a decent enough chain and at 1.8m long enough to secure my bike to a wall mounted anchor. Lock pin is slightly thinner than my Oxford lock and the design means it is less flexible as you have to put a single chain link into the lock but it provides another level of deterrent which is the main thing

If the weight is anything to go by, it will take a lot to cut through it. Wasn't in the Thatcham list on my Insurance even though it's classed as gold.

Just the job for adding security when garaged or parked up at home. As others have said, it's too heavy to carry around on rides though.

Very heavy chain and lock too heavy to carry around but ideal for securing the bike at home. I've never seen a bad review on Mammoth kit so very confident it will perform well

First lock arrived without a key... I emailed the staff and their response was sent it back and they would re-issue.
I did just that, and a week later I had the lock with a key and it is fixed on the bike - GREAT ITEM - GREAT SERVICE - definitely would use again.
