Macna Evolve RTX Heated Gloves

I bought these for my partner - he tells me they are a game changer! Unlike heated grips which just heat the palms, these also heat the back of your hands. One mistake I did make was only buying the Macna Bike Connection Cable which attaches to the bike battery. You also need to get the Macna Extension Cable to attach to the extension cable and thread through the jacket to the gloves. But we got there eventually!

Macna Evolve Heated Gloves - Black

I was looking for Winter Gloves for ;
1) good thermal protection
2) good waterproofing
3) good fit (despite additional thermal and waterproofing)
4) possible added touch screen fingertip material
The Macna Evolve gloves stood out from the rest for me because of the following Pros;
1) Very nice sleek and (on the surface) basic design with easy fitting and only one easy to use (with opposite glove) Velcro strap fastener
2) Good snug fit giving me confidence in the cold and wet I know where my fingers are and giving positive feed-back as to which buttons and bike controls I'm trying to operate.
3) Option to add electric heating to the gloves due to integrated wiring
4) Price
During general use + testing so far in the cold and wet the positive points above are borne out, albeit the fingertips still feeling a bit stiff and unyielding (but probably just because it's still new)
On the slightly more negative side (for me) ;
1) So far not as thermally and waterproof insulated as I'd hoped (without the optionally available heating and battery pack)
2) I'm aware (initially at least) of the integrated wiring inside the gloves but I can live with it given the advantages of additional heating.
Overall very happy given the price, but I will probably have to opt for the optional battery pack or connect directly to Bike battery when temperatures drop to around zero or beyond, especially if it also gets wet.
Service, assistance and helpful advice from the friendly staff at SBS Milton Keynes second to none as always.

Cracking gloves.

Very comfortable and decent heating capabilities off of 7.4v battery packs. Would recommend getting the 12v pack and the Y cable to power both gloves at once and stop you having lithium batteries in your sleeves!

These gloves are magical!
I enjoy riding, and with these gloves I don't have to worry about my hands freezing anymore.
I am new to riding, I'm still on a 125, hence it would be an equal investment to get heated grips. since I'm not planning on keeping my current bike I decided to invest in my gear.
with the bonus of being able to use them when I ride pillion.
The product is sturdy, easy to use, plugs nicely into the Macna heated Jacket, which connects to the battery using a lead.
They are lightweight, don't feel bulky at all, very good waterproofing, and dirt/mud on the outer shell washes off quickly with water. They don't need to be broken in as all the fabric parts are soft, the knuckle armor is sturdy, thearmor on the heel of the palm is hard enough to provide protection, yet soft enough not to affect your grip. [I had that issue with another pair of gloves, where the palm heel armor was too stiff, I couldn't control the throttle]
The fit is comfortable, enough room in the tips for ladies who like their nails at a medium to long length.
while riding in -1 to 2 degrees with no heated grips.
The highest temperature mode kept my fingers warm, but the back of my hand felt too warm, I had to dial it down to the lower mode. that kept both parts of my hand happy.
all in all very happy with purchase, and very happy with the service from Sportsbikeshop, commendable customer service.
Enjoy your rides everyone!
