Scottoiler Essentials Micro vSystem Chain Oiler

Bought for my Ducati 1100 Scrambler as I felt it would be a better fit than the standard size. If you have fitted these before this bike is no different. Took a couple of hours start to finish. Usual high quality of parts provided in the kit.

This is a great piece of equipment if you ride regularly and either don't enjoy or would forget chain maintenance. Installation can be tricky if your bike has lots of bodywork, my last 3 bikes were a piece of cake, current one slightly more difficult. Once it's on, just top up the reservoir every few hundred miles or so. As it uses oil rather than sticky lubricant, there is little fling onto the back wheel and what's there cleans off easily. This is my first try with the smaller unit, my last one was bought in 2003 and just got moved from bike to bike; the oiler comes with a kit of parts to fit most things. Scottoiler sells all of the individual parts so if you move it and have to replace a couple of bits, you only buy what you need. Wouldn't be without one.

I have always fitted a scottoiler to my bikes but when I bought a Ninja 1000SX and saw what room there was under the seat I was not sure one would fit, Im glad to say this micro scottoiler fits great.
