Keis J505RP Premium EXTREME Heated Jacket - Black / Red

I have an Exo gilet and my arms get a bit chilled so decided to go for the 505 keis jacket, it's well made and comfortable but the heat isn't brilliant I can't feel it in my neck or my back very well also the fleece lining grabs my base layer and makes it a bit difficult to remove. But overall its not bad. Thanks

This jacket has enough warmth that all settings not needed, in fact, if it's cold enough that you need the warmest setting you should probably be in a car!

Ok it's top of the price range but it's top of the food chain with regards to heated jackets. Very well made, quality materials lovely soft lining and boy is it warm…. Trans Siberia…. No problem.

I recently made a purchase of the Keis Extreme Heated Jacket, at the Sportsbikeshop store in Preston, and I couldn't be happier with the entire experience. The staff at the store were incredibly helpful, nothing was too much trouble!
I had the previous X25 model which lasted well over 10 years and the only reason I was "upgrading" was that it was now too large for me (you really need a snug fit to benefit from the jackets incredible warmth).
For me the best bit is the heated collar, on a cold wet day that warmth is to die for

This heated jacket really is a game changer. I wish that I bought one years ago.
Does need the the power controller but this came free with the jacket.
Very easy to wire up to the bike.

Made a purchase at the opening of the new Sportsbikeshop store in Preston, the staff were very helpful and I bought the keis extreme heated jacket. As they didn't have the free controller in Store, this was sent out and I received it the following day, which was great. Unfortunately the Jacket was only supplied with one 2amp fuse, so contacted customer services and explained the issue and they immediately apologised and sent the multi fuse pack out, again next day delivery. Absolutely fantastic customer and shop staff service. The jacket....well what a game changer, highly recommended, really well made with quality materials....Next purchase will be the keis short glove.

After using Keis products for over 10 years now I decided to upgrade my wife's old style jacket to the newer J505rp and one for myself, obviously!
Fantastic bit of kit, the wires from the sleeves have been extended slightly making it easier to connect the heated gloves or glove liners, the free controller is better positioned and hangs slightly lower down out of your outer jacket making it easier to use on the move and now with just 3 positions, of which I have not had it above Green as yet.
Extremely well made jacket with 3 external pockets and can happily be used as a jacket to go out in in the evening if you were away on tour.
I would have given it 5 if it had fit better around the stomach, much better than the old model but still a lot of excess material if you don't have The Beer Belly……
All the same it is a great bit of kit & extremely warm and well produced.

For years I have argued that you don't need heated clothing during cold rides, just layer up. Well this is layering up, but with a radiator keeping you completely comfortable. I have only used the lowest setting and it is incredible. You do need a little room available in your normal jacket, and it does feel snug. But wow, you just don't feel the cold with it on. Wish I'd have made the leap to heated clothing years ago.

This jacket works best when it's tight fitting. Any gaps lets cold air in.
Also watch your teather cable. If you're going to stand on the pegs occasionally make sure the cable has enough slack

Never thought I'd buy one but after being out with a friend all day who had one I was blue with cold and green eyed with envy as she said how toasty she was.

Well I gave it a try. Wish I'd bought sooner. Fantastic. Even in warm days it's nice at the start and end of the ride when it's chilly.

I'd recommend d and I'd buy again.

I bought one for husband and I think he'll be chuffed to bits despite being rather old school.

Thankful to Sportsbikeshop for providing the heat controller as a free accessory. You really need it. Jacket wired into the bike with no problems, have the end cable popping out from under the seat. Heat is distributed evenly and nice to have heat in the neck area. Jacket itself is very comfortable and the softshell style makes it look good on and off the bike.

Decided to pull the pin and go for one of these jackets. Should have got one a long time ago. Brilliant. Well made and even when not being used with the heating on it would make a pretty good mid layer. Looks good off the bike too. Not waterproof . On high it gets very warm and toastie. Sizing wise I went a size smaller and the fit is snug. I had what I thought was a defect with the inline fuse holder and SBS , excellent service, sent me a replacement power connector cable which was a better design in my opinion. Very well made product overall and hopefully will last a long time

On its own it's really quite warm as it has two layers a soft shell outer and light fleece inner, add heat to this when riding is quite amazing, regulate with the controller, usual advice I'm normally an X-Large this is a large and fits fine

This is my second keis jacket if it's as good as the first it will be ideal perfect for the job
