Great looking boots at a bargain price!

Put this review into perspective, - these boots cost less than £70, so they are not serious bike boots, but they are a great pair of boots for £70,- and you can ride your bike with them.
I bought them as a pair of boots for short local rides on sunny days.- I'm pretty sure they wouldn't be rain proof, and I wouldn't use them for long rides when the conditions might be changeable.
Obviously they take some styling cues (and their name) from the US made Red Wing brand, and they look great. They are real leather, not PU, they are thick and took some wearing in, I've done a lot of walking in them to break them in. I've worn them riding on the few fine days we've had (with armoured jeans), and they're perfect for lunches and short hops. They don't have gear change pad overs the left foot, so I'm expecting some wear in that area, they have some limited ankle protection and they seem to be well built.
Honestly, if you want the 'Jeans and Red Wing boot' look, save yourself about £250 and buy a pair of these instead, they do look very cool., I've had loads of positive comments about them.
Time will tell if they last for a few seasons, but I'm very happy with them so far.
As I said at the start, they are not serious biking boots, but they'd a great pair of boots for £70.
Obviously the staff at MK were their usual buoyant selves, always smiley and helpful,- I don't bother shopping anywhere else now.
Lastly, I ended up getting a pair of size 43, I would normally be a 44, so they're quite big.

After a month wearing they are breaking in nicely. Smart enough to wear for work. Leather seems good quality as does the stitching. Attractive gold hardware. Ankle and toe protection appears sturdy. Fit is on the large side, I had to size down to a 44 from a 45 in everything else. Also they are a little "baggy" in the fit on the upper, also quite wide footbed so not ideal for the narrow of foot. Overall I'm happy with these for an office-smart boot with what appears to be reasonable protection. Really good value for money.

I love these. I put them on straight from the box and they were so comfortable that I went out and wore them for a 9 hour shift at work. No need to break them in at all, they're perfect.
When I got home, I ordered a second pair while they were still on offer, for when I've finally worn these out.

Casual looking boots. Very stiff when first put on but wear in easy. Tried in light rain and kept me dry. Comfortable to walk around in. Sizing is correct.

What a fantastic pair of motorcycle ankle boots! Look fantastic on or off the bike, I found them to be waterproof as well dry as a bone in a heavy downpour, well made and comfortable I'm a size 8 and they fit superbly, definitely recommended especially at this great price , excellent service as always from Sportsbikeshop!
