Top plate weak

The top plate is rather thin and the screws are shallow. One snapped off when I removed the shoe. Unsuitable for my Honda CB500F as bike was too upright when the kickstand was down and hence unstable

R&G Racing Kickstand Shoe - Honda CB / CBR Series
- Sandwiches the existing stand foot
- Aluminium bottom level to prevent corrosion
- Topped with a stainless steel lid for strength
- Fitted in minutes clamped together with three countersunk Allen bolts
Kickstand Shoes bolt onto the bottom of the side stand, to enlarge the originals footprint by up to 100%, significantly spreading the load placed upon it, to help prevent the stand 'piercing' the ground. Despite this enlargement, the Shoe does not affect ground clearance or interfere with the chain run during normal riding.
