I like the compact size of the control unit and its simple layout, easy to operate in gloves. The 40mm drivers are clear and loud, not heavy base but thats fine with me.

I liked the look of this unit and its compact nature, so bought one to fit to my new helmet. There were no issues fitting the various elements to the helmet with everything plugging in easily and plenty of cable for routing. One downside is that it is a permanent mount, you are unable to either unplug the unit from the loom, so it has to stay on the helmet. The quick start manual is rubbish, so I went to the Interphone web site and there is a very detailed manual, unfortunately I don't read Italian. But once up and running with a bit of trial and error it all seemed to function well. As for the sound quality it is very good, however it does need to be louder, I'm running it at max volume and it is only just loud enough at motorway speeds. But, my helmet isn't the quietest and I do wear ear plugs still, even though it sounds better, it is quieter than the cheap unit it replaces.

Just purchase this based on the video posted online for sportsbikeshop for this headset a few weeks back. I did go for the 40mm version ones and they fit the AGV K6s. the installation was straight forward, use tape to help hold the cables in place whilst installing.
I had issues with the Bluetooth pairing with Samsung mobile, but I think this was more down to the instructions not quite clear: turn the device one as per instructions, then Press and hold the Intercom button (middle button) for 10 seconds (hear beep) still hold down for another 3 - 5 seconds for beeps - now you can pair the Ucom3 )its now in pairing mode) with phone by pressing the Music button (top button).
I can hear the music / radio on the speakers whilst riding along the roads clear as day, yet still hear the engine too - not made any calls whist riding though - I just want the music element - its a great piece of kit
This is a great intercom - I only use it for Sat Nav and it's easy to use - sound quality is perfect.

March 7, 2025Unfortunately, the U-com3 intercom that includes the 40mm speakers is not available in a twin pack. However, we can confirm that the U-com3 is available in a twin pack if you are happy with the HD 32mm speakers.
