RST Airbag Armour Shirt - Black

I have a Helite vest, an Alpinestars airbag vest and an RST airbag leather jacket, and all of them are bigger compromises than I like.

This on the other hand solves the problem I had of "how do I make all my jackets airbag compatible?"

It's lighter than the Alpinestars (and more comfortable), more elegant and practical than the Helite and uses the same In & Motion box I got for the leather jacket (you do get one with it, but I don't need two subscriptions!).

The only downside is the chest protectors are very thick. I swapped them out with some thinner D3O ones I had in another jacket - the beauty of this shirt, because I wear it between base layer and j(any of) my jacket(s) I can (and have!) take out the armour in the jackets.

The fit is great for me, and the mesh is, of course, very breathable. I have yet to try in very warm conditions (at which point I'll ditch the base layer (it's comfortable enough, unlike the Alpinestars) and have it under my mesh jacket) but I can tell it will outperform all my other airbag options in terms of airflow and comfort.

All in all, a great product.
