Good quality construction. Easy to assemble. Make sure it fits your bike and bobbin combo.

'Stand' ready to catch your bike!
02 July 2024 by Robert P
Is 'poor' harsh? Maybe. Then again maybe not given that my bike has fallen off this stand twice.
First time was when, admittedly tried to shortcut, tweaking the width of the hooks. In order to allow the use of cups (for bikes that don't have bobbins) Oxford made the pins round. They then machined a very slight flat on the diameter so that a grub screw would hold the hooks in place width-wise. This means that if you slacken those grub screws juuuuust a little too much, they'll rotate and your ZX12 will fall over. It's okay though, it's RSV Mille garage mate broke its fall.
The second time was when I was lowering the ZX off the stand. The castors turned which caused the whole thing to tip to the side. The Mille broke its fall again but this this time cracked the upper fairing of the ZX and smashed an indicator on the Mille. After a load of practice I've now devised a method of lowering it while I tempt it over to the left on order to prevent it falling. Easy when you know how...but none of my other stands require these shenanigans.
Other points;
The castors are too small, they could easily be a larger diameter.
The stand won't sit level unless the rear castor is oriented with it pointing 'backwards'.
Oxford should have omitted the non-bobbin option from the design and made the pins square like most other stands.
Disappointed.

Good Quality

Be aware that the size of the rear fork bobbins will affect if it will fit a Trident 660. If using the Triumph original bobbins they appear to be a few mm to long for the stand maximum width. I found shorter bobbins fit ok.

Smart but of kit

It came well boxed, very simple to assemble once set for the width of your bike very simple to use and send very secure. The dolly wheels are a great feature.

Description
Zero-G paddock stands cater for all kinds of bikes, including those with single-sided swing arms and preferences, such as a choice of fork or headstock mounted front stands. All of Oxford's paddock stands are engineered using the latest CAD technology and 3D modelling techniques. By being scientifically designed to minimise the required effort to move a given load, Oxford's Zero-G range of paddock stands literally take the weight off. Even better, they are able to do this without weighing too much themselves, making them even easier to use and live with. The Zero-G front and rear Dolly paddock stands enable you to manoeuvre your motorcycle whilst elevated. With a rigid oval steel construction and heavy-duty fasteners, these are reassuringly solid and stable workshop stands. The lockable caster wheels make it easy to turn your bike in a small space, ideal for home workshops and garages where space is at a premium.
