This is the proper thing if you want it to last. It is metal and not some cheaper plastic part. It clamps up nice and tight so won't let the camera fall over while in use.
Truly a rugged item at a sensible price.

This kit consists of a 1" B size rubber ball connected to a 2.5" diameter round plate. This mounting component includes pre-drilled holes using the universal AMPS hole pattern.
