Bell SRT Modular - Gloss Nardo Grey

Again, 5 star rating for Sportsbikeshop Reading. the helmet is perfect and good value.

The whole purchase was simple and efficient. Tghe helmet itself is, as you'd expect from Bell, well made and a very comfortablr fit. Well finished and ticks all my boxes. Well worth the money. Quieter than a lot of other flip ups. Good for those of us with (at least) 4 eyes!

This is my first Flip up lid, never been a fan but an upcoming trip to Switzerland has prompted the purchase.
The quality is great, it fits nicely plenty of room for a Sena 30k, ventilation is be good as it's quite an open padded interior, overall it's a great lid at a very affordable price, and with the impeccable returns policy you can't go wrong.

For the money this helmet clicks all boxes regarding specs. Though need to say that it is very bulky. Bought a medium, and compared with my 2 other helmets next to them looks like an XXL. Very comfortable though, but wouldn't recommend on motorway speeds as its already too noisy in the city.

Great quality helmet, excellent for glasses wearer, my no 1 requirement, super value at the price, worn in very cold weather without misting (pinlock included). Sun visor has good coverage and retracts completely, unlike some.

Helmet feels light, paint is great and everything feels solid and well put together.
Ridden in cold and wet weather so far, and no leaks or fogging (included Pinlock helps a lot).
The visor is huge and offers a great view.
My only gripe is there is not enough air for me directly to my face. I'd like better nose/mouth ventilation. But other than that, it's a fantastic lid, and was at a great price!

I bought this helmet because I needed to wear spectacles, this helmet is brilliant wear my spectacles comfortable, and the other features are a big bonus. The price and quality are excellent, would buy again if needed.

If you've never purchased from Sportsbikeshop, don't hesitate. They have to be the easiest company to buy from, with entirely frictionless procedures and, of course, their famous fantastic value. As an example of the ease of buying from SBS, I wanted a plain white helmet for the hot, sunny summer days when my black helmet tries hard to boil my brain. I picked a Bell SRT Modular [as I'm very happy with my black one of these] and, on the basis of the good fit of my current helmet, I ordered the same size but in white. I ordered it around 4-ish on Friday and the lid arrived by DPD at 10am the next day [a Saturday]. Unfortunately, despite the lids being the same size and model, the new one was too tight and I knew it would cause headaches during a ride. Consequently, I decided to go up one size and ordered that at 3:45pm on Saturday afternoon. It arrived before 09:30am on Sunday! I filled in the returns request for the one that was too small and received a DPD address label in next to no time via e-mail, together with a list of half a dozen alternative outlets where I could take the helmet for its return to SBS. Now that is customer service! If only all life's transactions could be that "painless".
As for the helmet, the new one is called a 2022 model, so that might explain the difference in sizing, as my existing black one is earlier than 2022. If you're looking for a [near] do-it-all helmet, which flips and has a drop-down sun visor, then I heartily recommend the Bell SRT Modular. Aside from the black one trying to cook my brain juices on very sunny days [black being a natural absorber of sunshine], this lid has served me well for thousands of miles of touring, so I hope the white one will do the same. Yes, modular helmets can be noisier than some [but not all] fixed full-face ones but, with fresh 3M "Classic" ear plugs fitted, the wind hiss is entirely manageable. If I had a magic wand, I'd add a peak for when the sun is very low in the sky but I've tried a couple of lids with that feature and found them wanting in one regard or another.
So, in conclusion, a great helmet purchased from a fabulous supplier at an extremely good price.

My last flip helmet was the Nolan which served me well for a number of years, but the bell is so much more comfortable and very easy to flip up the helmet compared to the Nolan. I would definitely recommend this helmet and a great price as well. Sportsbikeshop delivery brilliant as always
