Rev'it Eclipse 2 Textile Jacket - Silver

Great summer jacket well made good looking lightweight with good armour, very pleased.

The Eclipse 2 has a relaxed fit for its size, which I preferred over some other brands I tried that are a little slimmer fitting. It's very comfortable and on the move it's literally like not wearing a jacket at all! For me the sweet spot ambient temperature for this jacket is above 18 degrees. I've worn it in temps a few degrees less, with just a t-shirt underneath, and I had cold arms! There's enough room underneath for a hoodie or whatever if required. If you carry anything in the inside chest pocket it blocks 'some' air coming in, but the body and arms vent so well you can hardly tell. I also bought the Rev-It 'air' back protector for it, which if I'm totally honest isn't as comfortable or quality feeling as it should be, in my opinion. It's several layers of high density foam that are spot-glued in various places. It's completely flat, not moulded at all, and doesn't even mould to your shape with body heat as you might expect it to. Having said that, on the bike you can't really feel it, it's only when you're off the bike walking about that you can tell it's there. A small gripe really, but if there was a similar D3O item that fitted well enough I'd choose that instead. Overall I'm very happy with the jacket and would definitely recommend it.

Cool and comfortable, this jacket fits snuggly and adjusts on the waste to make sure the fit is almost perfect. Be careful to order the right size though as it would be easy to get a size too small. It comes with armour but purchasing a separate back plate is essential. A great purchase to avoid wearing a heavy jacket on a hot day.

The jacket is excellent, lightweight and exactly what I wanted. You need to buy a back protector to go with it but it's a fantastic price to start with so that's no problem. Perfect ventilation for a hot day.
The customer service at sportsbikeshop is always second to none. Nothing is ever too much trouble and they take time to make sure you get exactly what you need.

Having ridden for many years I am always a great beleiver in quality bike wear, usually buying well protected and weatherproof jackets, with a plan to ride in the Canary Isles I decided to seek out a summer ventilated jacket, Sportsbike recommended this Rev'it Eclipse, a great recommendation! Out riding on a warm day it proved its comfort and even with a light shower kept me dry. Well made and good quality item, at a reasonable price.

Very light weight jacket with great airflow. Particularly good above 23C at keeping you cool. Anything below that and you'll have to layer up to stay warm - that's how good the airflow is. The green and blue jackets look great too - was difficult to decide between the two. Overall a great jacket! No regrets.

The jacket is exactly what I was looking for. More importantly, though, the attention given to me by three, yes three, team members is what I remember best.

Keeps you super cool when riding in sultry and humid conditions. The protective shoulder and elbow pads come as standard. Would recommend buying the back protection pad. Very well made, stitching strong and durable.

Really nice jacket, comfortable and lets plenty of air through.
Loses a mark for only having 1 inside pocket.
Level 1 protection for elbows and shoulders, so I changed for level 2.

It's not every day that you want to get that textile or leather jacket on.When the sun is out there is nothing better to wear than this Rev'it Eclipse. Lightweight and airy yet offering protection in the event of unforeseen circumstances this jacket really is the answer to warm weather riding at an affordable price point

Great jacket, light, but well built, feels safe but keeps me from overheating - great jacket!

So light and feels like air conditioning on hot days. My only issue is the collar pushes against my neck slightly.

This is a great looking jacket ideal for on and off the bike when you arrive at your destination. Appears top quality and just what I have been looking for on long European tours. Comes small so suggest ordering one size up from normal.

Fantastic fit, well made lightweight jacket that flows a lot of air. Just worn it on a 600 mile ride in temperatures ranging from 12-26 with a couple of light weight layers and it was very comfortable. Highly recommend especially at the price.

This jacket is nice looking and appears well made. Snug fitting Velcro cuffs and waistband. A stylish lightweight jacket. The back armour doesn't come with it so I transferred some from another jacket. I have only worn it once since buying. Definitely air flowing through which would be brilliant on a hot day, unfortunately I tried mine on a 16 deg day and I was a bit chilly through ride. Least I know minimum weather to wear it in. I am pleased with jacket though. Delivery was very quick. I ordered next size up which was perfect fitting
