On the whole I like the the unit, it's made by Cardo who are hands down the best in this field. The only criticism is the sound quality isn't great and does require an upgrade in my opinion. I have emailed Cardo UK to ee if the JBL 45mm speaker are compatible, I am awaiting a response.
Functionally this seems a good piece of kit. Sound quality is good and it works well with the helmet which is nice and quiet. Installation was a real pain though - the instructions are poor and the online guides not much better. There is too much cable and too many connectors to fit neatly into the space available.
Im not a tech person tbh and am still getting used to the system. Fitting to the helmet was very easy an neat. Only real problem is getting it to pair to the sena in my better halfs schuberth c3 very hit and miss.
Links with Cardo and seems to be one of the very few that do. Great sound quality and fitted with very little effort.
Fitted easily, works as described. Clear comms and easy to operate.
App works well. Very happy although as with every other Cardo system i've had experience of it keeps turning the radio on.
Really happy with how this system fits into helmet. And how it works. The only complaint would be the USB micro charging port, but that's only because most electronic stuff now is type C so I have to carry 2 cables.

Much better than the Senna communication system I had previously. Pairing with my TomTom Rider and iPhone was easy. The voice command works well and the buttons are fairly easy to use.
Way better than Senna which I had installed I. Shoei netted.
I don't use as much volume the senna was on full most of the time. Better sound quality and 13 hrs battery. The hands free microphone is very good rarely have to use side controls apart turning system off and on. Radio is ok fair amount static, but use the phone radio and is fine hence 4 stars.
The title will become clear as you read on. I got this free with the agv modular helmet, what a result. Fitting is really simple and it hides itself well on the helmet.
It is simple to to operate and you don't know it's there, sound is great too.............the problem I have is this...I have a Cardo edge that I can swap to my other, non modular helmets and the Cardo app on my phone to control the edge unit.......unfortunately, you cannot add another Cardo unit to the app, you would have to delete the app, then reinstall the app to add a different Cardo unit, not a good idea, not sure about anyone else but I ride with a decent size group and I don't want to go through the nonsense of having to pair up again every time I ride in a different crash helmet. The only option I found was to use an old phone I had, connect it to my everyday phones wifi, put the app on there. Then I connected to my edge via the group and added the INSYDE comms to that group. I then went and met some friends from that group to see if it had worked....instantly it connected to those guys and all is good in the world....still, Cardo needs to sort this issue out and make it possible to have more than one cardo unit on the app at a time, because some of us use different cardo units. Don't let any of this put you off though, the unit and helmet combo is superb
Cracking bit of kit, easy to fit and set up after watching the set up video. Sound quality is good, although haven't tried the radio.
It works, does the job that it is supposed to do but there is one major design flaw with it.
Try switching it on, while wearing the helmet using your left hand wearing thick winter gloves.
There is no tactility with the buttons other than finding the up down switches.
Switch on before donning the helmet.
For everything else there's "Hay Cardo!"

A 'freebie' with the AGV Tourmodular helmet. Fitted in about one hour combo of instructions and intuition. Downloaded the Cardo app to my phone. Used as intercom and paired easily with a Sharktooth via the app, struggled to do so with the buttons. Sound qulity with music seems fine to me..Happy with this purchase.

Perfect fit for AGV Tourmodular and got it at discounted price buying it with helmet. Not too difficult to fit into helmet (took me about 20 mins following AGV YouTube tutorial), extremely good audio and microphone quality. Easy to pair with phone and other intercoms (non Cardo as well).
Quite easy to fit, good sound quality. Controls are easy to use. Only been out a couple of times, voice control good. Didn't think I'd use the radio or music option, but think I'll set it up and try.
Much better than the stick on the side type, no wind noise. Very happy with the helmet and intercom.
Arrived quickly and with the aid of a youtube video fitted it easily and works great. Clear speakers and lots of functions.
The buttons under the rim of the helmet take a while to get used to with winter gloves so can see the settings being set before the ride starts.
It took me a while to fit and needed the help of a Youtube video. Very well made and I like the way it hides away in the shell of the helmet. Sound is good and communication easy. Situated inside the helmet I would have thought rain would not be an issue but it does warn against prolonged use in the wet which is a shame as I ride all weathers. I have not however had any problems through some torrential prolonged rain.
