Cardo 2nd Helmet JBL Kit - Packtalk Edge

Reasonably easy to fit & works well. The sound quality of the JBL speakers is not amazing so the premium cost for them is a bit disappointing.

Having recently bought the Cardo Edge which by the way is a vast improvement on my old Interphone Tour, I wanted to fit it into my second helmet. So easy to fit into my Shoei Neotec 2 and sounds great.

All bits were there. Easy to fit and now I can use my Edge on my spare run around helmet.

Originally ordered the wrong one. Bought the correct one and sent back the other one. Refund was back in my account within 2 days of sending it. Proper old school service can't be faulted.

Simple... second cradle for your Cardo. Same good quality.

Just bought the scorpion ADF, 9000 Airmy. Main to go helmet is my shoei nxr2. When I bought the scorpion helmet I didn't want to keep pulling the head set out so come across this second helmet kit, and it works fantastic. Cannot thank Cardo for this excellent bit of kit well and big thank you for the great service from SBS.

I have purchased the Duo Cardo Packtalk Edge from Sportsbikeshop recently and wanted to extend the use of these intercoms to my enduro helmets. Although these second helmet kits are not cheap Sportsbikeshop have the best price and as always excellent prompt service. Time will tell on how good these are but so far great!

I've had two cradles fail on me, because of bent pins! The first cradle had a bent pin straight out of the box. A brand-new unit and I couldn't even use it, so I had to return it. I got a replacement, and again that failed because of a bent pin! It makes me wonder whether there's a major design fault with the cradle. It seems like the magnet is so powerful it can bend the pins? The Packtalk Edge as a comms unit is great, it now has the voice record function, and I would recommend it. But, I'm really worried about the cradle design and quality, what happens when the warranty runs out! I'm now very careful when removing the unit, but it's very hard because the magnet is so strong. And, I really shouldn't have to worry about bending the pins, on an expensive comms unit!

Great idea! To be able to switch between helmet that easily is good news. Please promote the person that came up with the 2nd helmet kit! As for the kit itself, easy to fit and two mounting & microphone options. Audio quality much better than the Bold. Definitely recommend.
