R&G Racing Brake Lever Guard - Triumph Daytona Moto2 765

A bit disappointed with this Brake Lever Guard. Initially there was an error and I received a Brake Lever Guard for the wrong bike, so that was a bit confusing when I thought about fitting it. However that was swapped over quickly by SBS so no real problem. but having now received the right Brake Lever Guard for my bike I can see that the main plastic part is identical to the previous one for a different bike, it is just the bar end fixing that is bike specific and this does not use the existing Triumph Bar End inner rod that is fitted inside the clip on bar, this would have been ideal as anyone with a Daytona will be aware having to remove the factory bar end inner fixing is a real pain and involves removing the throttle and grip, to then replace this with a plastic bar end bung to put a screw through to hold the lever guard. If only this R&G part was made to fit directly onto the existing Triumph handle bar inner rod assembly, life would be a lot easier. As it is I have left this part in the box and could not use the bike on a track day I had booked. This will be the case until one day when I might have enough time and the inclination to carry out this fairly involved job to fit it.
