Light weight but track day requirement

I'm taking my MT-09 SP to a track day at Brands Hatch at the end of the month.
Since I last rode on track front brake lever guards became a requirement.
As usual Sportsbikeshop were spot on, effortless ordering, paying, and delivery.
The lever guard itself is resin, so lighter than the bar end weight it replaces, and I had to add a couple of washers to prevent it fouling and turning with the throttle.
This may be because I have the Yamaha heated grips fitted, I don't know, but it was no hardship.
I'll probably put the bar weight back on my bike after the track day, depends if there's increased vibration without it.
