Very disappointing for Givi

I was looking at pannier racks from Givi & SW Motech. I went for the Givi item as I've always found them excellent in the past. Big mistake!
When my item arrived I was very disappointed, they had scrapes & gouges on them & rounded nuts. They literally looked like they had been dragged across the factory floor & then had the laughable quality control stickers applied.
Then the fitment leaves a lot to be desired, I fitted them loosely but alignment was way off. You have to force them into place & then tighten under tension.
The rubber bung which goes against the exhaust puts a lot of pressure on the heat shield & bends it in.
I've spoken to other people since who have also had alignment issues so it's not a one off.
When you spend £600 on racks & bags you should not get issues like this.
SBS have been helpful as always & this issue is not their fault.

Description
The Givi PL One-Fit tubular frame allows the installation of different models of Monkey side cases on your bike: a single product, many possible solutions! The PL One-Fit project includes a tubular frame, specific to each motorcycle model, on which it is possible to mount different kits, depending on the fixing system of the chosen side case. For greater rigidity, stability and resistance, the frame is made with a diameter of 18mm, compared to the previous ones of 16mm. This also guarantees greater strength, designed to last over time.
