No point on my bike

I was trying to be clever and get this instead of a std wrench. All it did was crush the filter so had to get the old wrench out anyway. Don't bother, just buy the K & N filter as it has a nut on the bottom and put this in the draw so the kids ask what It's for and you can make up loads of storys!!

The oil filter on the GSXR750 is very close to the headers and I can't get the usual claw type tool on, this works a treat.

Never used a strap wrench before and had to do a lockdown service so bought as it were cheap enough. I destroyed the old filter while removing but that was down to me not knowing how to use it (had to go in YouTube). It came in to more effect to nip up the new filter which I've had no leaks so all is good

Maybe OK if your filter hasn't been over-tightened

The filter on my bike had been aggressively tightened by the muppets at the main dealer.

Alas this tool would not get it off, it just resulted in the filter collapsing.

I'm sure it would be fine for one not over-tightened and the fabric strap is much more comfortable to use than the chain type (which also did not work).

I had to get a long tongs (pliers) style tool and hit it with a rubber mallet to remove it!

So in short, a good product for properly fitted filters but not the right tool if you have an extra tight one.
