Better than a cable tie!

Simple and effective (the best ideas usually are!) and seems kinder to the handlebar grips than cable ties too.
The other benefit is it's reusable of course.
I always tie my brake lever in the open position after bleeding my brakes to let the microscopic bubbles out.
It really does work.

I had no problems or had any moments where I thought it would rip. It doesn't need much tightening to get the brake fully engaged and for the price you can't go wrong.

Bike It Lever Jammer: Hopeless

It broke as we put it to use for the first time. Didn't even start the towing. The Neoprene is way too thin so as we tightened it over the brake lever, it just ripped into two. Totally useless. Shame as if made better would be really useful. Sending it back for a refund.

Bike It Lever Jammer
Lever Jammer is an additional securing device for use when transporting motorcycles, locking the front brake of the bike to prevent potential movement of the front wheel when on a truck or van. The Lever Jammer, a simple neoprene strap with D-clip, wraps around the throttle grip and closed brake lever and secures fast to keep the lever depressed and front brake locked on.
