The chain splitter worked ok, it successfully split my chain. However, don't know how well it would hold up to every day use.
Press plate terrible quality. Pin Holes too close together for 530 chain. Would not recommend this product. Shame really first poor item I've brought from sportsbikeshop.

This is a great little kit, easy to use and good tough quality. It's well worth the money as the cheap one I brought on ebay a few years ago, the pin bent quickly in their first use.

I bought this to replace a 530 chain on a Multistrada. After grinding the rivet head off, the pin bent trying to push it out rendering it useless. The plates jam in the body of the tool and need a drift to remove them. To cap it all, the thread stripped in the main body when preening the new rivet head. It might possibly work on smaller chains, but nowhere near adequate for larger chains - it's not a high quality tool.

I bought this Bike It chain cutter and riveter kit, it has done the job but the plate with the two holes in for the rivet head got stuck in the main body and I had to knock it out. It doesn't install much confidence especially when your doing the chain.
In my opinion it is to much money for the quality that I received.
