Oxford Loop Lock 15 Cable Lock

I wasn't expecting much of this for the price and took a punt after reading an MCN review.

I was surprised that the cable was considerably beefier than I expected. The shackle lock is reasonable as well and would take some effort to break.

Don't get me wrong, I his won't stop your bike being stolen, but with a disc lock it's a cost effective deterrent.

At this price you'd be nuts not too!!

I bought this as an extra measure for when I leave the bike somewhere less safe. As part of layered security it means I can lock it to something. I still use a disc lock alongside. The cable is good and chunky. The shackle lock is a bit small and tricky to fit on my rear disc with both cable ends on it. Good other than that though.

Useful heavy duty cable long enough to put through sleeves on jacket , trousers etc and lock to bike. I guess thieving scum have found away to get into the lock as it doesn't feel great so will add something else. Good value though for extra security
