Knox Richmond Denim Jeans Mk III - Blue

Really happy with theses riding jeans. The fit is somewhere between regular and slim jeans. The knee armour is easily removed by the external sides on the inside of the knee. Only negative point is may be a little warm to wear all day in the office due to the double layers of fabric but that it what gives the protection when commuting. Great pair of riding jeans.

Protective jeans which are both soft and high quality. The Knox armour is an additional benefit. Size came up a little small, return service was fast and ordered the next size up, perfect fit. Knee armour is easy to remove via a zip on the outside, This is great if you are doing much walking or sitting down for a great british breakfast when reaching your destination.

Super comfy and protective jeans. I'm using those to go to work without having to change trousers and it has been great.

While you could remove the knee protectors without taking the trousers off, I can't be bothered with the faff, so I just keep them on as the pads are slim and comfy enough that I don't mind having them for the whole day.

Obviously it's not waterproof so I still need to carry an overtrouser, and, it's not warm enough for UK weather so I'm using an undersuit below. But it wasn't designed or market as such. Therefore, 5 stars for what it's!

2nd Purchase of these jeans as the first pair proved to be both comfortable and a good fit.

All great jeans but these are stretch so extra comfy.
Size is spot on 34w reg leg for me
At 6ft tall and 13.6 stone.

Quality it spot on..

One thing I have realised. The waist measurement is unstretched. If you have a 36" waist and buy a 36" pair they will not tighten and grip. Best to go for a 34", for a nice comfy fit, though you will need a belt as well.
The armour is knox, so you won't need to go and buy something better. The armour is easily removed for off bike wear, and although lined, they are way cooler than leathers in our hot summers. they also keep you warm in much cooler weather. Inside leg is on the long side, short suits me with a 30", regular was about 4" longer. You may receive them without the hip armour, this has happened to me 3 times, so someone at the warehouse isn't aware that it should be included. Very happy with the jeans.

Can't fault these jeans, slim looking casual jeans, with built in pockets and knee pads and hip/side pads which live in a separate pouch you barely notice the armour, sizings very accurate normally super risky for me buying jeans over Internet but I stayed true to my normal size, and sure enough they fit like a dream. Wearing them in hot weather might prove hot but don't feel at all cold on bike and that's what's important to me.

Very well made, the armour pockets are in the perfect place. Not cheap but high quality. I measured my waist at 36", but they stretch so much that a 34" would probably have been ok. I washed them at 30 degrees to see if they would shrink at all but they didn't. Very warm in cold weather, seem to be totally windproof. Very light. Lined. Will have to wait till the warm weather to see if I stay cool. Need a belt or braces as the stretch doesn't grip the waist. Very happy with purchase, though might try a 34" waist with a T shirt for hot summer weather.

Well constructed, innovative knee pad removal when of the bike. One caveat the zip tab could be larger , a bit fiddly.

Very nice pair of jeans, AA rated. Very comfortable fit and well designed. Love the armour pockets particularly at the knee. Now you can fit knee pads while wearing your jeans. Fabric is great with stretch and seems quite durable. Quality of workmanship is high which makes a welcome change. Overall well worth the money and a very good buy. Finally service from SBS was exemplary and is the reason I do a 160 mile round trip to go there.

I have had the previous Mark 11 of these jeans and i have used them on thousands of miles, but the Mark111 are on a new level of comfort being stretch fabric, they ate so comfortably, I'm looking forward to riding with them in the better weather.

Very well made jeans and amazingly comfortable. I had a cheaper pair of armoured jeans before and they always felt as if they wouldn't protect me properly. The Knox Richmond jeans feel in a different league for confidence. I bought my usual jeans size and they were pretty loose fitting, so I ordered a size down and they fit nice and snug. The level of stretch in the material is great and you wouldn't know that the armour is there.
