Slim armour that when stood is comfy. When sat on bike hip coverage digs in a touch, hence not 5 stars. Still worth buying as coverage of hips is good and once armour has warmed up, it softens nicely. Seems to be usual top Knox quality. Recommend.

Good hip protection

Quality garment at a reasonable price. Necessary piece of kit if you have no other form of hip protection. Having taken a fall from a motorcycle onto an unprotected hip bone in the past I can assure you this garment is worth the investment to hopefully minimise the impact..

These shorts are brilliant, fit fantastic and feel great. Not put them to the test yet but the padding is where it needs to be so they complement my jeans which only have padding in the knees.

I wear these shorts whether I'm trail riding or on my road bike.
I find them very comfortable and reassuring. I have come off my trail bike and they did a great job of protecting me.

Purchased these to provide better protection to hip and thigh than is supplied with the standard garments. The shorts were my normal waist size and fitted very well. The protection provided is excellent and the fit is very comfortable, not to bulky beneath my trousers.

Comfortable extra protection

I bought these shorts to wear under some Alpinestars laminate trousers on a Rallymoto off-road event on gravel tracks. I was worried the trousers were too thin for protection by themselves as on the road I wear them over kevlar jeans. The shorts are Level 1 equivalent anti-abrasion as well as having thin adaptive armour over a large part of the hip and outer thigh. They have a small patch of the same microlock armour over the coccyx, but it could have been a little larger hence four stars. However they are very comfortable, didn't get too hot and provided an extra layer of reassurance as I hoped. Quality product.

These unisex Action Pro Shorts are a low-profile pair of armoured shorts. They offer amazing stretch, abrasion resistance and impact protection while remaining discreet. These have been designed to be worn under motorcycle riding jeans, leathers and one piece suits and are CE rated to EN17092- 6 Class C. Designed, not just for all types of motorcycle riders, but also tough enough to be worn on their own for other adrenaline sports participants, such as mountain bikers, skateboarders, snowboarders, or skiers, looking for valuable protection. The Action Pro shorts contain a full set of low profile and discreet Micro-Lock armour, not only in the hips but also on the thighs and coccyx. They're lightweight, breathable and abrasion resistant. Since they are made using a new sustainable fabric called Sorona® Agile from Dupont, which is an eco-efficient fibre, partially made with plant-based polymers, they have a subtle piquet texture, high levels of strength, stretch, and stain resistance. All of these features make the hard-working Action Pro shorts perfectly comfortable and hold the armour in the right place. Action Pro shorts are also part of the Knox Seasonless Collection, simply add a pair of jeans for warmth and Knox waterproof trousers for when it rains.
