Good mid range helmet
18 September 2024 by Robert F
Comfortable helmet comes with drop down internal sun visor also comes with a clear lense and a smoke lense.
Bought this helmet for that reason and it was reduced by £200
Great vents and fits my head shape perfect only down side coming from an arai helmet to this was the wind noise is louder more noticed and not much room for speakers inside but still a very good mid range helmet

Premier Devil U9 BM Matt black

A good helmet, comes with a flip down shaded visor, spare shaded main visor, pinlock and lots of stickers.
Visor action is smooth. Internal cushioning is soft and plentiful with still lots of gaps for airflow.
Has a nice shape and aggressive look to it. Got it in a sale for £150. More than happy.

Great lid, great features
15 July 2021 by Dan
Really comfy, vents work really well and after trying on so many helmets this felt like it was made for my head.
Internal sun visor is great shape and the whole lid looks really good

Falling slightly short of a great helmet
20 October 2020 by Radu R
I have a 58cm roundish head and this helmet fits me really well.
This helmet has some nice features but overall it's a bit of a let down and I think for this price point (£233 at the time of purchase) there are better helmets. Unfortunately none of those seem to fit my weird shaped head as good, so I had to settle for this one.
Pros:
- lightweight
- comfortable (for roundish heads at least)
- very solid visor lock, placed centrally; the visor can be open just slightly ("city" position) or fully locked
- metal quick release chin strap, looks and feels very solid
- double gasket all around the visor opening (not just the top)
- emergency release cheek pads
- the chin vent has an additional actuator on the inside of the helmet to toggle air flow to the visor or directly to your face
- an additional set of pads to customise the fit, although I wouldn't call it an "advanced padding system" like they do - they are just 4 pads you can stick on the front, back and sides of the comfort liner.
- fairly large speaker cut-outs and channels for cables.
Cons:
- quite noisy; this is the only helmet I got to take out on the road, so I can't compare with others. But after the first ride I got earplugs because it was definitely too noisy. One thing I noticed, compared with several other helmets I tried (but didn't fit) is that all the other had some comfort liner material that covered the ears, while this one doesn't (there's no padding / material between my ear and the cutouts for the speakers in the EPS liner except for a very thin spongy layer). Also worth mentioning I ride a naked bike.
- the visor only comes with a Pinlock 30 insert (the most basic version). Other helmets half this price have a MaxVision ready visor with a Pinlock 70 insert included. The visor on this helmet has decent visibility but not ideal.
- the inner sun visor is too light / not dark enough. This is really a pity because the coverage of the sun visor is really good and the actuator works really nice. Interestingly, the helmet comes with an additional smoke visor in the box (so it has an inner sun visor and a smoke visor).
- overall build quality is not bad, but not great either. Examples: on the outer shell top vent cut out the material is uneven / has rugged edges; The chin curtain comes out too easy on one side (when taking the helmet off); The cheek pads are kind of fiddly - I took them out and I can't seem to find how to properly put them back again;
I would say this helmet is more suited for touring / sport touring because it's very comfortable and is probably quieter on bikes with a proper wind screen. I wish it had a better visor (MaxVision, Pinlock 70) and a darker inner sun visor, but overall I am happy with this purchase.
