Comfy and warm but very tight.

These are called trousers, but they are definitely leggings not trousers. Not a problem under bike trousers, but you aren't going to be wanting to wear them on their own to the pub while away on a trip. Once you've got the size right they are actually really comfortable. The fleece inside is really soft. The front has synthetic insulation (but it's pretty thin, not like a puffer jacket) and a furry fleecy lining. The back part is just a powerstretch type material with no insulation. I found the fit VERY tight. I initially got my correct waist size and could barely pull the legs up they were so tight, (and I wouldn't consider myself to have especially large muscular legs). The waist was fine though once they were on. I ended up returning them and getting the next size up. Sportsbikeshop gave fantastic service in this regard as usual. This size up was a much more comfortable fit.

Not substantial enough and not up to "the most trying weather conditions" as Oxford claim. Too expensive too.
I returned them but kept the jacket version for occasional wear when it's not too cold.
Next time I will opt for proper heated clothing as this is not up to British winter.
