Versatile Mid-Layer

This is a high-quality and well-designed fleece jacket by Oxford.
It has a bike-specific cut, so is slim fitting on the arms and body. The extra-long arms are finished with slim stretch cuffs, and rear panel is longer to keep you covered when leant forward. This design gives it minimal bulk when layering, and it still looks good off the bike too.

For me it works great from about 8c to 20c in combination with a Rukka laminate jacket and a thin base layer or two. This makes it ideal for all but the coldest months of the year, when a down jacket or thicker fleece such as the Rukka Aldrich would be better perhaps. The full-length zip means you don't have to remove your helmet if you need to pop this layer on or off when out and about.

What a great addition to to my collection of gear, fits perfectly under all my jackets and is super warm. Even in this horrible weather we are having.

Seems well made, nice long arms which makes a change. I'm usually a medium but got a large and fits perfectly. Works nicely under the jacket doesn't hinder your movement. Overall happy with purchase

Amazing for the price

Great mid layer jacket that can be worn casually as well as under your main jacket to keep you extra warm.
I picked it up for £25, an absolute steal for that price, great quality, I tend to wear it on or off my bike. Really good fitting. Large was perfect for me 6'2", 85 Kg. If you're carrying more around the waist then note this is a slim fitting item.

A full-zip fleece middle garment that keeps you warm and toasty. Long sleeves and long tail back ensure no draughts, while two outer pockets allow stowage for small articles. Folds up small, so ideal for carrying as a supplement to your outer jacket when it gets cold of an evening!

Very impressive mid-layer

Really impressed with this Oxford mid-layer fleece.

Good fit with longer arms and back, ideal for when on the 'bike.

However it's the warmth that's impressed me most. Out and about in temps down to 2C and, with it under my outer jacket, has kept me toasty and warm.

I've also worn it around the house and can definitely confirm it's just a very warm fleece.

Amazing value for money too!

Warm and cosy.

This isn't at all windproof on it's own, but under a bike jacket it's really warm and cosy. I've worn it under my textile jacket with a base layer and a thin zip neck fleece under it and at 1 degree C, I was comfortably warm. It's nice and fleecy on the inside and a kind of knitted finish on the outside. Possibly a 'normal' cheap fleece might be as warm, but I find that the collar on these garments are just too bulky under a bike jacket, where this collar on this jacket is designed with this in mind and so sits much more comfortably.
It's a snug fit especially in the arms. I got the same size as my bike jackets, and with a base layer and a thin zip neck fleece under it, that's all I would comfortably want under it. The arms especially feel tight to put on, but once it's on it doesn't feel tight or restrictive, just nicely snug. With just a base layer under it it's spot on. The arms themselves are nice and long so they don't ride up on the bike, (and I do normally have problems with sleeve length in general).
Overall I'm very pleased with it for the price and it will be getting plenty of use this winter.
