Oxford Base layer

Worn the base layer twice on the bike . Weather was chilly showing 6/7 degrees both days. The garment was spot on . Didn't get cold or too warm when the temp went up a bit. Also walked the dog and again the Oxford Base layer performed brilliantly. I suspect you will need to layer up when temperature drops below 6/7 degrees but this item is the first thing I now put on before autumn/ winter riding.

Early days yet , but it stays next to your skin keeping any cold air or moisture away from your body. Definitely VFM. at £20.00

Comfortable & effective Base Layer

The top is excellent quality, a snug but very comfortable fit, which I like as I can layer up without creating too much bulk. My first ride, a 300 mile + round trip, (2024 RTTW), wearing the top on a dry but cold windy day, was pleasantly cosy.
I liked the snug fit of the collar, the length of the top, so nicely tucked in, and the sleeves reached down to the wrists, mind you I am not a gibbon, but I was able to tuck the cuffs into my gloves for added protection from the wind. Not that it is necessarily meant to be seen, the colour and style of the top is not obtrusive. A pleasant to wear, very useful garment, reasonably priced and delivered in quick time.

Good base layer

I have done two 250 mile runs in these at temperatures between 4 and 7 degrees. Firstly they are very comfortable to wear as a base layer. They definitely need extra layers for properly cold weather but do a good job and are well priced. I had to get a size up from what I first ordered, so if in doubt I would suggest to go u a size

Very comfortable, although I found the L/XL to be the best fit I would not describe myself as large more medium, (38inch chest). I tried the medium and the top was tight. Also bought the bottoms. A great combination for a base layer,

Never had a base layer before but having used this every day on my latest 5 day euro tour I wouldn't be without it.
Helps regulate temperature in hot and cold conditions. Washed it every night and it dried ready for the next morning.
L/XL fit me fine (usually 44" chest)

So happy I bought a 2nd top and a pair of bottoms. Quality is brilliant as is the comfort effect. I wear them all year round. In winter I will just have these and a second merino base layer top, over the Oxford, under my BMW Streetguard with thermal liner and behind a tall screen. Love em.
