Definitely worth the extra over cheaper stainless versions. Never had an issue with these front sprockets but have done with cheaper ones where teeth have damaged especially on a big twin.

My old Renthal front sprocket showed no sign of wear at all after 12000 miles. The old, NON Renthal chain & rear sprocket were utterly worn out! I fitted a new Renthal front as a precaution to protect my new chain etc, it probably was not necessary!
