Dainese Ladies D-Air Smart Jacket - Black

Ignoring the huge difference in cost between the female and male airbags (£180 more for the word, "female" ), I'm pleased to have it and not have to pay a rip-off monthly subscription. Registering the air-bag vest was easy via my phone app and PC but .. updating has been more problematic. I got a notification that there was an update but couldn't get the update app/web-page to recognise the vest was plugged in and active, even after making sure lights were on and cable fully inserted. The silly little USB-C access point isn't aligned properly with the little access hole in the material (so needs slight manhandling to get the port open, aligned and connected). Access to that USB charging/updating port isn't exactly childs play (as though regular access to the hardware wasn't envisaged by the vest designer). This is my first airbag vest and although the prohibitive £180 difference between the cost of my husbands vest (same make, model and purchase date) did put me and my girlfriends off, I'm finding wearing it ok and sizing was perfect . A little stiff and cumbersome but I'm expecting it to wear in. None of my girlfriends are interested in paying the prohibitive and quite frankly sexist price difference for a piece of kit that looks good, feels good but in reality seems a tad under construction
