EBC Double H Brake Pads - FA231HH

Bought these pads with new ebc discs, after 50 miles of light usage they were ripping into new discs, Took them straight out and fitted some GG Road pads, problem solved, will never use these again on road bike

The pads themselves are brilliant, I recently upgraded pads and lines on my SV650s and has made an incredible difference, however make sure you buy them with the FA229HH as this are not transferable left to right, they are sided!!

Purchased these for my er-6. Fitted both sides within half hour. Have used them in both wet and dry conditions and have definitely noticed braking performance. Would not hesitate to buy the same again.

Specially designed for circuit use - on the label it warns about not being necessarily street approved, so you may look into that before going for the purchase. Good braking power.

These pads are great, had them before, will have them again, always gives you a good progressive feel, much more efficient than standard pads, great for a not so lightweight bike. A definite buy if you want more stopping power.

I looked at various different pads before settling on these and it was a good choice. Smooth and graduated braking, which was what I wanted.

Only been using a week but so much better ordered more to replace other pads on my bike. Always used EBC on my car as so much better than others.

Only tried them on the way to the MOT place but they feel very solid. I've tried cheaper one Goldring? and these seem to be much better
But...
took several days to arrive. Sportsbikeshop will not be my first choice of supplier in the future.

Ordered these brake pads to replace the exact same type having been impressed with their performance. I wouldn't look elsewhere to be honest. Fair price, good performance, can be used all year round, what more can you want? I cannot comment on longevity since the previous set I had were on the bike when I purchased it and were already very worn. One thing to be aware of is when you first put these pads on the bike take it easy. In summary, the pads need to bed in and so it's not advisable to make your first test ride a spirited one. The best way to get over this, is to go for as long a ride, in mileage, as possible and just keep using them with every chance. On my bike, these pads fit the rear and one side of the front with the other being (FA229HH) and so please use your manual, Fowlers or another source to check the code on your brake pads (of course you could just remove the old ones and take a photo of each side to be sure when it comes to ordering). I haven't covered many miles with this new set, but they're sharp as can be expected and stop the weight of me, a heavy bike and some heavy luggage with ease. Very impressed. Hold no reservations in ordering for the front when the time comes. SBS the go to place as always.
