The Yuasa battery is an OEM part for two motorbikes I have owned. The performance is great and they last. These ones are the later gel batteries and come ready to install.

XSR900 upgrade replacement

The oem battery for the Yamaha XSR900 is an YTZ10S however this appears to be out of stock everywhere. Fortunately the Sportsbikeshop has the dimensions published for this. The YTZ12S is the same width and depth as the 10S but about 15mm taller. The Yamaha comes with a foam packing piece under the oem battery. If you remove that its a perfect fit. The stock battery is Yuasa and I have always have good performance from them. There were cheaper no name alternatives but having a battery die on you while out in a ride is not something I want so I paid a bit more for Japanese quality. Plus is has a lot more cold cranking amps.
