RST Alpha 5 CE Textile Jacket - Black / Blue

First jacket for me as I start biking at 49 years old. I followed other reviews and bought a size up which fits perfectly over base layers and fleeces, and the straps can then tighten the fit for summer rain.

Good looking, well made jacket. Fits well and true to size - bought large for 44" chest. Lots for scope for adjustment and decent pockets. Not tested in the rain yet but comfortable and warm.

Really comfortable and durable jacket with good hi vis markings which is great for Autumn and dark nights. Fits really well with velcro straps to adjust the fit and cannot recommend this jacket enough. Feels really well made and doesn't feel restricted like other ones I had tried on

I went for the medium 42" chest size as I'm a 40" chest I needed something to fit me when I had base layers underneath, from the fit, to the quality, its perfect, I want another one in a different colour ?

Really good jacket great quality and fits really well UK size so no messing about.

I like the jacket, it will keep you dry, for a while. Its not made of nylon, so at some point, obviously, you get wet. But it takes a lot of rain. It wasnt as thick as I expected, so I was surprised that the first day I wore it (I commute with my bike and hit the road at 5:30 am) I felt cold. Only on my sleeves, where you have no linen, and I was wearing a tshirt, like I said, i wasnt expecting to be cold. Next day, i wore a jumper and was ok. Defo needs some clothing underneath in my case, especially in fall when will be 5 degrees in morning. Build quality is good, feels sturdy, zips and velcros are well sewn, it feels good, feels well made, i like it. I also bought it at half price or about, so if i would have paid full price, which was like £200, i would have sent it back. Its well worth £100. Good jacket, but if you ride in the cold, get something better.
