Good value and handy

Purchased the motech pro micro tankbag, as I was looking for a smaller size tankbag, which wouldn't get in my way or look too bulky. Be aware, the bag is smaller than it first appears, as there is a recess for the connecting mechanism, but, it is fine for what I wanted, I.e, all the debris you don't want in your pockets, plus a small bottle of water, sunnies etc. It looks good and well made. It comes with a waterproof cover, which you can tuck out of the way. It was in a sale so made it reasonable value. As ever, fast, efficient service from Sportsbikeshop, thank you.

I've never been a fan of tank bags, they look cumbersome, ugly and designed by squirrels.
The SW Motec pro micro bag is a revelation, an amazing design, rigid base containing the locking mechanism. The rest of the bag is made of semi rigid tactile material, quality that astonishes. The bag may be small, the clue is in the name, but I wanted a unobtrusive bag, this delivers in many areas, it expands to the volume of a 5 ltr container you buy your screen wash in, the interior is luxurious, the top has a zip compartment, it's not waterproof but it comes with an equally snazzy waterproof cover. I fitted it to my BMW F900GS, it looks OEM , not being too big to restrict bar movement or look like you've put a bag of coal on your tank.. I did have to buy the pro tank ring separately, not expensive either. The magnetic adapter ring guides the bag to its correct position before snapping into place,
The front of the bag has an opening for a power lead to be threaded through, another handy design.
I'll be investing in the Pro day bag in the future, for longer bike trips.

I needed something this size for short rides out. I have other stuff by this manufacturer and the quality tends to make it worth a little bit extra on the purchase price. Feels well made and hopefully will last a long time. Great size for phone, wallet, drinks, snacks etc.

Carries the small stuff that I want quick access to, like glasses, camera, cards, without having to unlock my top box every time. Neat tank ring design compared to other makes, so looks tidier when removed. Small enough to place in my top box when away from the bike.

Done a bit of research looking for a small tank bag, everytime SW motech pro micro bag kept coming up! Absolutely ideal for your days out carry's enough stuff for adventuring out. I was looking for a small tank bag for my BMW RS1250 and came across Mottech Tank Bags. The Pro Micro is small enough not to block any instruments but holds the stuff you need when passing through borders. Easy to fit with the basic instruction sheet. As always good service from SBS.
