SW Motech Pro City Tank Bag

The bag itself is superb and locks onto the magnetic tank ring without issues.

However, the waterproof cover is secured by two sets of draw strings. On my gs when travelling over 70 mph, the wind makes the waterproof cover 'balloon' up and I had to ride with one hand on top as was worried it may blow off!

At normal speeds this isn't an issue.

Also - even though I have been really careful, there is a small tear in the transparent cover, which seems to be where the clear vinyl was folded - I've only used the cover 3 or 4 times so not happy with robustness of the rain cover.

Top quality tank bag, fits my adventure bike perfectly and it's so easy to fit and remove from the tank.
The only negative I can say is with SW Motech delivery of the fitting ring, the tank bag from sportsbikeshop delivered very quickly but tank ring not in stock so I ordered one from sw motech and get told not in stock one month delivery!
This is not the first time delivery has not been acceptable from sw motech, a side stand pad took 5 weeks for delivery.

Struggling to find a bag that suited the profile of my V4 Multistrada Rally. This fits pretty much perfectly, hugging the profile of the tank. Quality is excellent and plenty of room. The ease of fitting and removal is also excellent

I have owned SW Motech tank bags before but this is the first 'Pro' one I have owned. It is high quality and an excellent design. Definitely recommended.

My second SW Motech tank bag due to bike change. This fits the KTM 1290 SAS 2021 model perfectly. It matches the tank profile and still allows plenty of body movement and visibility of the screen. Really easy to install, still go through the instructions first. SBS first class delivery service as always. Love purchasing from you guys. Faultless.

Really well made and designed bag. Clicks into place with a firm magnetic clunk that feels reassuringly secure, and looks great on my KTM 890 Duke.

A bit pricey but you get what you pay for. Well thought out and great bag for day trips and shorter tours.

The bag is good quality, can hold a lot inside and it's OK on my gs, not too bulky.

Only negative is SW Motech should add a strap to carry the bag when it's not sitting on the tank

It's a great bag and the pro ring makes it so quick and easy to grab the bag and go. The range is a little pricey but personally I'm extremely happy. It's a very handy addition to the bike.

Very well made bag. I use it on a T700 and it fits beautifully. Quick to attach and remove. Enough space for two piece waterproofs wallet and phone. Great for a day bag. Two negatives. It will throw showers but it's not waterproof (like most). It's £172 not cheap. A great bag though and no regrets

Stylish looking expandable tank bag with side pockes and rain cover. Easy to fit and comes with the magnetic pro city tank ring included. This fitting is multi adjustable by means of a click rack on the underside of the bag that can be tightened into place once you have achieved the best position for non interference of handlebars etc. This fits beautifully to the curve of my Tiger Sport 1050 tank and you would think it was a factory Triumph accessory. The bag clicks into position on the magnets and is easily released via a pull chord.. Overall, excellent and would highly recommend

A very useful size, with two additional side pockets. It locates to the base ring very easily, far better than an old givi bag I had. due to the tank ring being located close to the bars, the bag is fitted in a position so its as far back as possible. Even so the bag still looks very good with the curved base following the line of the tank. The bag also stays away from the tank surface, so should stay scratch free. I'm very pleased having seen various youtube that it was as good as I'd hoped.

I had the evo version of this on my gsxs1000 now updated to to the pro which us used on 1290 adv Ktm and a tracer 7
It's fit and contour to the tank is great and quality very high
It's just the right size for me holds plenty of stuff but never gets in the way even standing on pegs
The side pockets are essential left picket always has a damp visor cloth for cleaning on the move

Can't argue that its a quality made bag, fits perfectly. Though this comes with a hefty price tag. You wouldn't be disappointed, tank ring and bag easy to install.

Very good quality and easy fitting to separate Tank Ring. Suits my KTM 1290 S dry well. Nice to have 2 separate pockets on either side of bag to keep valuable separate.
