Oxford LidLock - Black

The idea of this lock is good and it secures your helmet well. Unfortunately it is all too easy to accidentally change the combination on the lock if you inadvertently move the red arrow while removing the helmet. You're then stuck with the helmet locked to the bike and no idea what the code is!! This arrangement needs sorting as it's inconvenient carrying an angle grinder in case this happens….

Superb little gadget with the expected Oxford quality and at a great price point.

Good but found the quality on the hinge not the best, is very loose.

Needed a safe place to leave my helmet and this provides peace of mind when away from my bike. I have a ratchet chin system on my helmet and this fits just fine.

This wouldn't stop the determined thief, but for leaving the lid on the bike at local meets, etc, it does the job very well and saves carrying everything with you. Very portable and easy to use.

Relative to the other ones I have had this one is small and strong. I like the idea of the big thumb wheel and the solid clicks. The cable length is idea for helmets and smaller items and the lock doesn't take up much storage space. This is not a top class security item, it is just there to prevent people walking off with your stuff.

A good little lock to deter opportunist thieves. Obviously wouldn't hold up to any tools, but at this price and weight, its perfect for the job of securing your helmet and jacket.

Good product, easy to use. Not very strong or thick but good for living your helmet with the bike in places with no special moped people running around.

Good quality and stronger than I expected it to be! Easy to carry either in a pocket or packed away in your bikes luggage. Combination lock easy to set and smooth operation. Would definitely recommend!

Works well. Would I buy it again? No, cables too short. If the cable was better longer more flexible it would be better
