Inconsistent build quality

Although the finish looks good the ball joint where you adjust the mirror isn't firm enough and I'm about to send a second mirror back with the same issue and await a third one. I've had to carefully check it wasn't me knocking it but under hard acceleration and overtaking at motorway speeds I can watch the mirror fold in towards me and the second replacement sent out to me was floppier/looser than the first one I was sent which is why I state the inconsistency in the build quality of the mirrors I've been sent out. Can't fault the service from SBS though but the problem is getting tiresome now not to mention how dangerous it is readjusting it at speed every few minutes

Very nice finish, but not worth the money

Great looking product, nice finish, but in my opinion a lot to improve: even with the spacers installed, the mirrors are too close/over the grips area and since there is no way to make further adjustments, you can bump into them with the back of your hand when operating brake or clutch.
The most disappointing thing, however, is the tightness of the ball join (you can't adjust it or re-tighten it), from the first ride, during medium-strong accelerations the mirrors bend inwards making them simply unsafe…. I wasn't expecting such thing from a product of this price tag. Comment is specifically for the product, the service from Sportbikeshop was impeccable as always.

I ordered 2x Oxford bar end mirrors which to be honest are a good quality product, what I was disappointed with was the fact that one of the mirrors was in a re-sealed box and had quite clearly been fitted

Quality mirrors

As a CNC machinist myself I can appreciate the quality machining of these bar end mirrors. Fit and finish was excellent. I personally thought the mirrors glass was too much blue tint, alas I could not fit them as the hole needed to be opened out to accommodate a 10mm bolt to fit my BMW S1000R sport 2021 model. So they were returned, as usual great return procedure with SportsBikeShop and refunded in a few days.

Excellent mirrors that fit well and are well made. Not a lot of small fiddly allen bolts to tighten, Just the main handlebar bolts with the added bonus of bar end weights. Anti glare glass also really good.
Recommended.

Love the look of these mirrors, I've fitted these to my 2022 MV Agusta Brutale 800 RR and they fitted without any issues.

The mirrors are superb quality, I've not ridden with them yet but they look awesome on the bike… thanks SBS
