Oxford Screamer 7 Alarmed Disc Lock

Noisy but not loud enough to hear it being triggered if you're in the shop for example but definitely loud enough to attract attention.
Doesn't go off immediately if knocked, just delivers a loud warning beep and I really like that feature. Gives you plenty time to place it and arm it. Crucial price of kit

Easy to use, great value. Didn't come with a reminder cable but can buy them separate

Purchased this lock after reading the reviews which were positive.
It's a solid lock, easy to use but when it's activated the alarm was hardly ear splitting. Yes it's a deterrent but advertised as a Screamer is not what it is
Do be put off just know the tamper alarm isn't as loud as it should be.

It also alarms continuously in a closed indoor garage. I can't use it properly.

Bought two of these for a week away with my son.
Mine is working well, his is emitting a weird continuous sound like a frog on coke trapped in a biscuit tin.
I wish I'd packed the Allen key!
We can't stop the noise when it's Locked and it only stops when unlocked.
Only activated them a week ago, so it shouldn't be the battery!
Solid product though and the alarm is loud.

Wouldn't recommend, not up to Oxfords usual quality, the alarm is very over sensitive, it will set itself off even when the bike is parked in my garage on soft matts, can't open the door without the alarm starting,, I have researched since buying and have found a good number of other buyers with the same problem.

I bought 2 of these at a really good price. Easy set up and simple to attach to the discs.. Decent alarm and not overly sensitive. Exactly as expected.

The product itself is well made, robust, and simple to use.
The alarm on the lock is reasonable but if it were louder my review would have been 5 stars.

I have a bunch of disc locks already, but this one is simpler and cleaner to use. The alarm is piercing! It wouldn't deter an aggressive thief perhaps, but would certainly make people aware of the theft in progress.

Good value for money, and a very visible deterrent. For first actuation out of the box, the top needs to be removed using the allen key provided in order to unwrap the battery. Product easy to fit, and very sensitive (my dog managed to set it off in the garage due to his inquisitive nature)

Thankfully not had to find out how effective this really is but seemed the best value for money based on similar products. Instructions not too clear but fairly easy to figure out.

Chunky disc lock with a loud alarm. Easy to use once we realised the supplied battery was still wrapped in plastic cover! Does what it says on the tin.
