Hi, Does the Kovix alarm disc lock have a rechargeable battery?

Unfortunately, the CR2 lithium battery included is not rechargeable, but should last 8 10 months according to the manufacturer.

Feels and looks well made and sturdy. Easy to remove and replace battery. It is very sensitive! Just brushed my no. Plate and it went off, mounted to front wheel. It is loud but not piercing. The duration of the audible alarm isn't very long though.. 10 secs at most.

Style Over Substance!

As a recent victim of motorcycle thieves who took off with my brand new Triumph Street Triple 765 RS, I thought it best to review this product.

The looks and weight give the impression of quality, but the body of this lock is not strong enough. This was sheared cleanly into 2 pieces on the return fold of the lock body and the alarm is clearly not a deterrent.

The Kovix 10mm Alarm Disc Lock was on my front disc and the Kovix KN1 Mini Disc Lock was on the rear disc. Both sheared off at the same point on the lock body.

No response from the manufacturer and no compensation or refund available through SportsBikeShop who sell on their behalf.

Overall very disappointed and I would not spend money on disc locks in the future.

Good quality, looks very solid. Loud enough. Only issue sometimes is tricky to turn on alarm. Overall I would recommend.

Well made disc lock by kovjx, really loud alarm waterproof battery compartment was well thought when this was being designed, and sportsbikeshop was the best price and fast delivery.

Very happy with the purchase of this disc lock, it works really well and alarm is easy to set and also easy to use with out setting the alarm. Nice bright colour to see, so will help with remembering It's on before damage. Feels very solid. All round good product.

Received disc lock promptly as always, alarm very loud and sounds at small movement, then resets, nice and heavy, so should hold up for a while under attack, 3 keys, very happy with lock
