Very easy to use good reception great connectivity with gps and phone great buy.

Fantastic for listening to the radio and my favourite tracks whilst cruising the country lanes. Quick tip if wearing earplugs use the foam spacers to bring the speakers closer to your ears.

I ride with a friend often, and we were running the Packtalk slims, which were great except the range never seemed to be all that great. We just did a tour with a third friend and I bought the Bold for him and with the extendable antenna it noticeably improved the overall range. The mesh network worked really well, even at great distances. Features are great, phone app really makes it easy.

If range is key, I'd consider the bold over the slim. Battery lasted about equal on all units.

Bought the packtalk bold and was quite easy to install into my schuberth 4 helmet, updating the firmware was quite easy once I found out it had to be fully charged to connect to Cardo updater! Sportsbike shop customer service was excellent and dealt with a missing data cable very quickly. It was a competitive price and next day delivery. I love the voice control instead of feeling for little buttons with gloved fingers.

Easy to fit, even on a flip-lid. Good speakers, unit easy to use with the speak system. Can pair 2 phones/nav via Bluetooth, but occasionally seems to get confused if using both. Radio hard to set unless using the app. Otherwise, really good.

The device is excellent and the sound quality is brilliant. Simple to set up the link to my iPhone, though have not paired to other riders yet. I have a Shoei GT-Air and the earphones are really hard to get into a comfy position. The one use only sticky pad for the device fixture meant I used the clip, which I had to push between the shell and padding.

Replaced an older Nolan N-Com system with the Packtalk Bold and so glad I did. Great features and the voice communication is second to none. I used the included sticky tape option to fit to my Nolan N87 helmet and it's very secure. Can't believe I waited this long to upgrade.

Great product. I was going to buy the Black Edition but the speakers would have been too big for the pockets in my Shoei NXR2 but this version fits perfect. Noise compensation works a dream and nav commands come through both speakers clearly. If I had to be fussy the instructions for connecting to other non Cardo units could be better but as Im using it for a nav and Cardo mesh it is not an issue.

I have used other intercoms but this product is far most the best of all. Bought one for my brother the best product.

Early days yet so I hesitated about 5 stars. However, given the quality of the unit, the ease of setup and most importantly the ease of use, this without a doubt deserves it. Having had the Schuberth SC1 Advanced and before that a Sena 20s evo this is years ahead. Expensive I cannot disagree, but I couldnt live with Sena one more day

A couple of mates and myself are heading out on some longer planned rides this year, including some tours, so we thought it would be a good idea to be able to communicate while riding long distances.
One of my buddies already has the PACKTALK BOLD so it seemed a no-brainer that we should follow suit.
Installing to my helmet (AGV K6) wasn't exactly easy due to the shape and construction of the helmet but I got there in the end.
Once paired with the other units it was pretty much job done and out on the road it adds a new dimension to riding with my mates.
The voice commands can be a bit hit and miss sometimes but I find that's the case with most voice controlled devices.
I haven't delved into its capabilities too much, the fact that I can talk to my mates, listen to music and answer the phone if I need to are more than sufficient for my needs.
Pushing the buttons on the unit while riding and with gloved hands isn't exactly easy so I haven't bothered with features accessed this way. The volume control is very easy to operate, though, and use that if I need a bit of silence rather than trying to mute everyone with the buttons.
Make sure you keep the antenna raised while in use - one of my mates keeps forgetting and it seriously hampers both range and quality of the auto received.
I also take the 5 miles range claim with a pinch of salt. Maybe if you have line of sight (if that's even possible) and devices between to relay the signal from the two units it's technically possible, but practically the range drops out well before five miles.
Overall a very good comms unit, I'm happy with it for what I/we need it and to be able to tell my mates that I need fuel soon or that I'm bursting for a wee is worth the money alone, even without all the other features.
