Have used Silkolene oil many times in the past. Gear changes seem to be smoother than with other oils and it also stays cleaner for longer. I really like the innovative recyclable packaging.

The dreaded "which oil?" question as there are so many brands...Silkolene has a very good reputation and I have no complaints. The new packaging works well and you can still keep any unused oil safely in it. Great price from SBS, only issue was DPD failed to deliver on time.
10/50 gives the engine (Hayabusa) a good oil pressure when hot, trundling back to the pits, but not so excessive on that early morning practice session. Used Fuchs oils (and chain lube) for years with no unexpected issues.
It's red, so when that No.2 rod exits the crankcase, it looks like the engine is bleeding....
Good quality oil, however the eco friendly box it comes in is a bit off a faff. I'm sure I will get used to it but I was never a fan of wine in a box either!
Just be prepared to have to play hunt the spout when you open the cardboard ingress port.
Haven't done the oil change yet but don't expect it to be a problem. The handy packaging helps storage and should help with disposal afterwards. I went for Silkolene based on good reviews so hope to see the benefits.
