Light as a feather
24 December 2021 by Terry G
Good looking, high quality and light weight sprocket nearly 400g lighter than my standard ZXR sprocket. I returned my original 45 tooth order for a swap to 46 with no hasle from SBS, top class service as always

Great Sprocket for Track

I have used Renthal for years on all my track bikes and I've always found the quality to be superb. They get a bit of a beating on track and are a lightweight yet durable.

Removed after 1400 miles

I like the look and feel but no longevity.
Removed after 1400 miles as my chain chewed it up.
I do 1000 miles a month for commute so this is definitely not a commuters choice.
I ended up putting back my previous steel one until I get a new steel one.

I haven't tried this one out yet but I have several sprockets from Renthal, both front and rear and they all work very well. They're light and looks nice. Definitely recommended.

Maximum quality
25 January 2018 by Ignacio G
Hello, product of maximum quality, like everything Renthal, very light, much more than the standard, and at the same time material very hard, as well as steel. I recommend your purchase against any other brand.
Sportsbikeshop is a very good store, serious, professional, fast. If you find what you are looking for, the best in the world.
In terms of service, SPORTSBIKESHOP for me is better than the majority of recognized stores in Spain. Greetings thank you.

It was fast shipping and good care of packing of this product. I like the small detail of the gel insert on the side of the sprocket. (Company logo). Today is going to be fit on the bike.

How light is this thing
10 July 2014 by Ian F
This was a direct replacement on my track bike. The old Triple-S chain had eaten my poor old Renthal rear sprocket.
When I took it out of it's packet I was amazed at how light it was - even compared to the front Renthal this is ridiculously light.
It looks great and feels like quality. The exact same one it replaced was a couple of years old and had done many track days and even though it had been used with a rubbish chain it held up pretty well.
Don't expect mega miles from this thing but for saving a decent bit of weight and looking the business you can't go far wrong!

Nice quality over O/E.

After powdercoating the swingarm, this sprocket really finished the back end off nicely along with the Renthal chain. A lot lighter than stock & fitted perfectly.

Description
NOTE The second half of the part number above refers to the pitch
Renthal hard anodised sprockets are specifically designed for road and road racing applications. They feature all the benefits of Renthal off-road aluminium rear sprockets but with increased longevity from the hard anodised process.
Hard anodising is an integral surface coating which significantly increases the hardness and wear resistance of the chainwheel surface. Renthal hard anodised rear sprockets are precision CNC manufactured to extremely high tolerances. The high strength is especially enhanced by using a 7075 T6 aluminium alloy coated in an ultra hardwearing finish for extreme mileage. The rear sprockets computer aided 'Ultra light' design gives the maximum reduction of unsprung weight at the rear wheel, to give maximum power transfer. The Renthal rear sprockets are 33% lighter than steel and the self-cleaning mud grooves prevent dirt build up and help keep the sprocket clean.
