This is my second keis controller. The first stopped working after a few years, the same happened with the keis vest. They are good products but sadly the longevity isn't up to much, although I guess thats life in our throwaway society.

I got this free with my jacket and I'm certainly glad I did. It is a slightly pricey item otherwise but well worth it. The jacket has a pocket to keep it in and, when in use, the cable is long enough so that the controller hangs down just below my textile jacket. Might be tricky to alter the temperature on the go, with winter gloves on etc, but certainly not impossible. Keis should include this with the jacket - I'm glad Sportsbikeshop threw it in with mine.

This little controller allows you to control the heat via 3 heat settings, waistcoat got a little too warm without it.
Fits inside a dedicated pocket in waistcoat.
Only gripe is that it really should be supplied with the heated waistcoat not as an extra!
Supple to use and can do so with gloved hands.

I had ordered a heated vest for my husband for Christmas and the controller was included free. The controller didn't work and I contacted sportsbikeshop by email. I received a reply that day with instructions for return. I received updates by email and received the new controller within days. It works very well with the vest with 3 heat settings. Excellent customer service 5 stars.

Why is it the simple ideas are the greatest? The only way this could be better is if the lead was longer and the controller could be bar mounted.
