Ixon IT-Yate Naked Heated Gloves - Black

Brought these as an upgrade from my Racer Connectic 4 gloves which were good, these gloves however maintain a skin temperature not a glove temperature which works very well at keeping yours warm but not to hot (set by the app). A 4 hr ride from the Midlands to Padstow putting them to the test with torrential rain proving they are waterproof and the battery life of 3.5hrs with ambient temp of 10 deg set to 27 deg. They are comfortable also. I have noticed 1 small fault some times they dont turn on and off when using them so I have got use to checking so not really a problem. Fit I found matched all my RST gloves of XL.

First pair I recieved I sent back as the stitching was coming away from the palm of 1 of the gloves sportsbikeshop would get 5 star for there help with the return. The app that you need to download is annoying you pair the gloves up no problem but if you want to adjust the temp after that then you will find the gloves do not repair without force closing the app or turning Bluetooth off. the touchscreen property is non spotty it works sometimes but more often than not doesn't work. The visor wipe is a tiny bit of plastic that is of no use would have been better just leaving it off the gloves in the design. They will keep your hands warm and the adaptive temp does seem to work quite well.

After a freezing ride over xmas, finally decided enough was enough and purchased a pair of Ixon IT-EVO Heated gloves. What a difference nice warm fingers only used 1/3 of battery for 1.5 hr ride again in very cold conditions , wish I had these years ago.Only used once so far(hence 4 stars) due to lockdown so unable to comment further but looking good so far. Would order 1 size bigger than normal size for good fit, cuff fits nicely under sleeves of my normal winter jacket battery hardly noticeable. Bluetooth app needs better instructions for technophobes ,(thanks youtube) but once setup works well but could do will battery left shown as a percentage rather than bars like mobile phone other wise a good product. Well worth the investment so far.
