Givi SRA5134 Monokey Aluminium Adaptor Plate - BMW F850 GS Adventure

First of all, the service from Sportsbikeshop was spot on. Quick delivery with plenty of updates as it made its way.
The price wasn't quite the cheapest, but if you compare that to ordering from Europe, the potential hassle of import tax and the longer delivery, Sportsbikeshop was the way to go.
Anyway the product itself, an easy fit with basic but easy to following instructions. The only real criticism is that two pairs of washers looked similar on the instructions but are significantly different thicknesses. It is important which position they get positioned in to prevent bending something when tightening everything up. With a box clipped on, it's all solid. Not tried it on any rough stuff yet, but feels like it should be fine and hopefully it will keep the top box in place.
The plate itself is a nice thick piece of alloy and doesn't look out of place without a box fastened to it. It's worth spending the time making sure it's lined up. I found securing the bolts closest to the front of the bike first followed by the clap at the rear was the easiest way to do it.

I have had one of these aluminium top plates on most of my bikes, they are strong, well made and easy to fit - highly recommended.
